Hello All!

Sorry for the delay in posting some of the images from our wild shoot out!  If you were not there - we basically had a challenge to shoot 2 couples after dark without the aid of flashes.  

We were challenged to discover what we could use around us to make great photographs!

Thanks for everyone's enthusiasm - even though traffic had us starting almost an hour behind schedule!

I love the images I have seen so far - GREAT WORK!  I would still love to see more images from the night so please send a few in if you have yet to do so!

Thursday night shoot out!

November's PUG is this Thursday, November 6th! We are back at Java Vino - UPSTAIRS!

OK everyone, we have talked about it at previous PUG's and now it is here. We are going to have our first Atlanta shootout this Thursday for our PUG. Here are the criteria to think about before the meeting Thursday at 7pm.

1. We will break into groups of three or four.
2. We will have models for you and you will have 45 minutes to go out and about photographing an impromptu portrait session.
3. Then we will process images (please bring your laptop's) and then present your top three from each group. (if you dont have a laptop we will try to share and help each other)


I think this is going to be a great experience and to throw a curve ball out there, the shoot will be at night with available light only. There are plenty of lights outside and it will make for some interesting challenges.

Things to bring: Camera, fast glass, laptop and way to load images on to your laptop.

A quick note about meeting at Java Vino! We are very fortunate to have such a cool, comfy spot to host our meetings! They are gracious hosts but we in turn need to be gracious guests!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a minute or two to grab some coffee, wine and or food before coming upstairs! We want it to be mutually beneficial for them to host our events so that we can be invited back again and again! Do some networking - buy a friend a coffee too! Make sure you let them know you are with the PUG when you pay so they can easily keep track!
