PUG Wednesday May 7th at JavaVino!

Our next PUG meeting is Wednesday night May 7th at 7pm at JavaVino Cafe!

We are trying out a new location for this month so come join us for a coffee or glass of wine as we discuss all the latest PUG news!
JavaVino is located at 579 N Highland Ave, Atlana GA 30307
We are very excited to have Andrew Niesen  speaking to us about the art of storytelling through album design.  Andrew is one of the fabulous four photographers from LaCour.  He has spoken at WPPI in Las Vegas, The Digital Wedding Forum and conducts seminars about The Business of Storytelling with his counterparts at LaCour.

"Great photographers use pictures to tell a story.  The building blocks of a compelling book - nouns, verbs and adjectives - are also the building blocks to a compelling photo story.  You can write a book using only nouns and verbs, but adding adjectives breathes life into the story.  Andrew will teach you how to develop your visual vocabulary so you can craft photo stories like a great author."

We will also be taking a look at Pictage's new Art Books, Modern Books and Digital Designs!!

Thank you to Mark Adams and SHOOT Q

We just want to say thanks to Mark Adams and Shoot Q for coming to our last PUG and letting us know about this exciting new studio management system! We had a great time and were so excited that you released memberships just for our PUG!

About Shoot Q
At its core, ShootQ is a studio management application, but its power lies in its focus on Customer Relationship Management and the integration of innovative community-building features that cannot be found anywhere else.

ShootQ is designed to make photographers' lives simpler and their studios more profitable by allowing creative people to focus on what they enjoy doing - being creative! ShootQ takes care of many tedious tasks like filling out invoices and contracts, keeping track of client info, accumulating vendor contact info and more. ShootQ has been a valuable tool at LaCour and we're excited to share it with you!
